‘Love, Love, Love,’ Avalanche City

Love Love Love is the first single off ‘Our New Life Above The Ground,’ by the acoustic folk-pop band Avalanche City. The album was released in April of this year, but I am only hearing for the first time now.

The song is interesting to me, as it is an immediate pleasure song, rather than a potential influence song.

It is catchy, tap-your-toes offbeat song with a cute video, and the entire album was released for free (note, due to its rise in popularity, it is no longer free). Yet, it reeks of tourist commercial play…
