Tonight: Screening of ‘The Packers’ Fan Experience’

A documentary showcasing Packers fans is set to be screened tonight at the Downer Theater on Milwaukee’s east side. The Packers’ Fan Experience is a documentary following 20 fans over the 2010 Super Bowl run that ended with a world championship. This screening is a little bit different than most screenings, as you just need to show up before film starts at 7:00 p.m., and pay an admission fee of $8. 100% of the proceeds go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.
The documentary, directed by Meghan Parkansky, is 75-minutes and includes a man in Dallas whose arms are tattooed with Packers memories, a woman who has a Packers-themed casket and plans to have a tailgate party at her funeral, people who witnessed the Ice Bowl, fans named to the Packers Hall of Fame, a Lombardi Avenue fence painter and more.
