Christmas Tree Lighting

Just a few hours ago, a crowd was gathered around the Rotunda, listening to music provided by the Salvation Army Brass Ensemble, caroling to songs led by the Waukesha Choral Union, and enjoying hot chocolate.

Yup! That time of year, the Christmas season, is officially here now that the tree has been lit and the Salvation Army‘s 2011 Red Kettle campaign has begun (or should I say, George Wang Challenge has begun).

Roger Igielski, president of the Waukesha Downtown Business Association, even used his magic to bring Santa for a short bit of time.
